Blake Lively for Chanel

Ever since the rumour mill started, Blake Lively's Chanel campaign for the Mademoiselle handbag has been eagerly anticipated, and Kaiser Karl/ Saint Karl does not disappoint. Taken in the Pace Vendome Chanel HQ, the pictures are divine and capture the sexyness of Blake Lively while remaining true to Chanel's classiness.

At first I was unsure of Blake being appointed as the new Chanel "it girl" but now I've seen the pictures, I've changed my mind. Ever since the start of her Gossip Girl days, Blake style status has soared and she's definietly become a credible style icon. And now with this campaign I'm definitely expecting some big style moments from her this year.



A Little Bit of Feather

They are an "ever-fixed mark" in my wardrobe

Being Olivia

With fashion week coming up it gives me the chance to delight in Olivia Palermo's supreme satorial choices. Even in her off-duty wardrobe she still remains classically cool with that french girl type chic. What really amazes me is how the combination of her glossy hair and looks combine to make one effortless look - something I can only dream of!

Any girl who can cycle in heels like that deserves to be my girl of the month.

Leighton Meester for Missoni

As Blake Lively dons her tweed skirt and boucle jacket, Leighton Meester is as part of Missoni's Family and Friends S/S '11 Campaign shot by Juergen Teller.

The Campaign is said to have been inspired by the Beetles album cover to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The shoot is bright, fun, and lively, and shows a new side to the Missoni Label. I like a lot.

Anna Dello Russo

Just adore Vogue Nippon's Editor at Large. Her eccentric style is so inspiring and a joy to watch, but she can tone it down and still remain chic and classic. True style icon.

Christmas Time.....

Well I was planning on posting about Dune's fabulous pre-christmas sale yesterday but after one too many mulled wines in Glasgow's German markets, it never happened. And I have fantastically left my camera lead in Gala so no uploading of photos over Christmas. However the sale is still definitely worth a look especially for some christmas party shoes, there are still bargins to be had!

The leopard print ones remind me of my dream shoes (more of them later) that I am would gladly chop off my arm to have.....at least a finger or two anyway. 



Oh! What a Night

Well it was the turn of the British Fashion Awards last night, most awards were as expected with Lara Stone scooping the model of the year but she did look fantastic in a white - what else - Calvin Klein dress, representing the brand at its best since shes their new campaign girl along with Diane Kruger.

Don't you just think her eye make-up makes the dress seem ever more fabulous?

Phoebe Philo won best designer most deservedly for her work at Celine which this past Autumn/Winter has been the source of many a trend - eh hello capes?

Although she is not my favourite french designer - Isabel Marant have you lost my number? - I do admire her work and love almost everything she produces. Heres one of my favourite looks from her A/W 2010 show.

You can never go wrong with a bit of leather, and the orange clutch just makes the outfit pop.
